It is with much sadness that I upload this lovely photo of one very brave and loved Koala Samantha who was saved from the horrific bushfires here in Victoria Australia in February this year........Samantha was doing fine ...all her burns were healing well but then she had very bad complications (Clamidia) which were not operable and had to be put to sleep this morning so that she would not have any further pain.
RIP Sam you gave so many of us hope...you will never be forgotten.

I am so sorry to hear about this. I'm late as usual finding out about things. I just read today about this and am so sad to hear about the ending news. Poor animal!

It was very sad news but at least she is no longer in pain and she has gone to a much better place......she will never be forgotten......she was a symbol of hope to us all and especially to the people that were directly involved who lost homes and relatives and friends.

I am very sorry to hear of Sam's dead. Poor thing... I am glad that everything that could be done for her was done.
